Watched the first one last year and wanted to check out the sequel. I also wanted a real werewolf after yesterday's Jack and Diane.
This one is a bit slower and bit more crafted and lacking something the first one did.
Brigitte is now afraid she is going to turn into a werewolf herself and she is seeing all the signs. She is also injecting small amounts of wolfsbane into her veins to keep the change at bay. There are some interesting bits and Ghost is not who I expected her to be. The end was a little bit of a let down to be honest.
The big shock to me was Ghost portrayed by future Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany.

I love all three of those movies so hard. I seem to have had a very different reaction to this one than you, however. It vies with the first as the best of the trilogy to me (though, oddly, I end up watching the third one more often than either of the others).
I didn't realize that Ghost was Tatiana Maslany! She is quite a good actress, and her role in this one is superb.
I am a fan of all three of these, even though they're not consistent in terms of plot. I liked the third better than the second, though, as it's pretty much a standalone that uses the same actresses in the 1800s. A really fun weird western.
The assumption is that the girls in that one are ancestors of the two in the original films, but it's never made clear.
I will have to check out the 3rd one now!
