GAZ 3: The Principalities of Glantri

One of my all time favorite books in the GAZ series and maybe even the entire Basic D&D line is out today at DnDClassics.com.

GAZ 3 The Principalities of Glantri.

Even today I go back to this book.  I loved Glantri and made it "my" country for years.  The School of Magic, the Necromancers, the Witches and more.  Just a treasure trove of great stuff.

I recently picked up a "new" copy of the dead tree version, but having the PDF will be great.

I never had any of the Basic GAZ books. I did have many of the Hollow World books when I was younger and they mentioned the setting. I think it's funny, I know more about the lost world than the world itself.

This was really one of the best Gaz's. And that's some competition with Karameikos, Orcs of Thar, and Yularuam.

It really is a good book.

The city layout, npcs, and adventure seeds could be used in any high fantasy world. The other side of the map is the only Mystara specific part.

Isn't Glantri the one that gave us Spanish elves and the character Manuel of the Plains? :)
