Read an RPG in Public week

Today is the start of "Read an RPG Book in Public Week".  A worthy gesture I think.  If our hobby is going to survive then we need more new players.  Now I am done having kids, so I have affected all the people I can locally (ie at home), so I figure I might drum up some more support.

Since it is sitting here next to me, I am going to take my new Pathfinder Bestiary.  It's a great looking book so that should get some attention.

You too!

Sorry our "kids" game meant we could not come in earlier. But the kid;s game was a lot of fun.

Looks like you were having a good time too!

Hope you, Greg and I can all get together for a game.

It sounds like you had fun and yes, the OD&D game was great fun!

We have to drag Marv/Finarvyn out of his cave too. I really would love a day-long OD&D romp.

An OD&D romp huh?

That could be fun...I would love to sit at a table with you guys, either in front of or behind the shield!

On a side note, I know Tim isn't but anyone going to GaryCon II?

I had signed up to go, but events have transpired that I cannot.

However, I've got my 12 hour B2 Marathon I'm running on the 27th at Chicagoland Games - using Holmes rules - you're more than welcome to come! It's using the Round Robin Tower of Gygax rules - you die, you give your seat up to someone who's waiting. If you play for longer than an hour, you give up your seat to someone who's waiting... we'll work the kinks out but it should be fun!

Just don't bring your Pathfinder corebook with you. That thing's as big as a textbook, even if it does have cool cover art.
