I still like the feel and the smell of the original hard copy. But hey, if the pdf has some good bookmarks, you'll be able to find what you want faster that you would otherwise (though part of the fun with the 1e DMG is discovering something new or you forgot each time you skim through it).

Why did they change the cover?
These are the new reprint covers to celebrate 40 years of D&D.
