Huh. The Ennies hadn't even been on my radar. Looking over the various nominees I see a lot of talented individuals developing game stuff these days (also at least a couple who are terrible hacks but have some nice production values).
Also, a lot of negative and "downer" content. Sheesh...is the industry battling depression these days?
