This week I found Northern Belle Cosplay on Facebook.
She is more famous for her various interpretations of Marvel's Rogue, but she does other cosplays as well.  Including a kick ass Zatanna.

Zatannurday: Wearing O' the Green

Zatanna has had some interesting costume choices over the years, but she has stuck mostly with the black/blue themes.  Superheroes don't change their costumes often.
So even on St. Patty's Zatanna (who I would say is predominantly Italian anyway) isn't really going to wear green.  But she hangs out with a lot of people that do.

Zatannurday: Alouette Cosplay, Part 2

A while back I posted some pictures of a great Cosplayer, Alouette.
I talked to her a bit on Facebook and she is really sweet and great.

I love her Catwoman and Batwoman costumes. But of course Zatanna is my favorite!
(Her Catwoman is really, really close though...)

I am now thinking that I need a wall of these. You know like you see in restaurants where celebs sign pictures of themselves when they have been there.  I could do all the superheroes that have appeared in my games and get them from cosplayers.  My game gets decorated and I help support their costuming!

Cause remember. Cosplayers make cons more enjoyable for everyone.  I drag my wife to cons and she looks forward to seeing all the costumes.  She acted like a total fangirl when she saw "Rose" from Doctor Who.

Ok. So I got sucked into this contest.

The contest is take this photo of cosplayers Jettie Monday and Katy Mor:

And make them run from something scary.

My photoshop skills are only ok.  But my thoughts went immediately to what would be the scariest thing they could be running from?  Ron Jeremy.  Atomic Ron Jeremy dress as Mario.

How's that for horror!  I should have made his eyes glow.

I should stat him up for Mutant Future to be honest.  12' tall Atomic Ron Jeremy.

No idea if I won the contest or not.

Not sure how tuned in to geek/nerd subculture you all are.
I consider myself fairly knowledgeble and yet something still pops up that I either didn't know about or leaves me scratching my head.

Another article basically asking the current status-quo in fandom to stop being a bunch of jerks.

We only get this on the periphery in the RPG community, but it is there.  Maybe only because old-fashioned table-top RPGs are not quite as popular in the same way comics and comic book movies are.

Zatannurday: Team-ups

For the most of her career Zatanna has been a solo act. She has worked in groups; Justice League or the JL-Dark (not really the team's name) and some pairings.

But I'd like to see her in more team ups with other supers.
