Putting my money where my mouth is...

So I spent a lot of time and text ripping into Outlaw Press, James Shipman and his art stealing ways.
See:

So I have decided to put my money where my mouth is.
I am going to buy a copy of Tunnels and Trolls directly from Flying Buffalo this week at Gen Con.

I have no idea what edition, what book or anything.  But I want to show my support this way.  It looks like 7 (or 7.5) is the most up-to-date edition.  But maybe an older edition would be cool to have too.

If you are going to Gen Con and want to support one of the true pioneers of our hobby, then I suggest you do the same.

Its a good game Tim. Very old school and very simple and fun.

No real supplements for it but this is a good thing IMO.

If you decide you like the game, you may find Mercenaries Spies and Private Eyes to be good as well. Its about $12

Its a variant of the T&T system designed for modern games and while small and a bit 80's in theme its pretty complete.

It also has a snazzy skill system you can use in T&T

There are several good T&T adventures to buy as well. Look out for "Dungeon of the Bear".

Look out for the Solo adventures as well. "Naked Doom" and "Deathtrap Equalizer" are two I fondly remember.

I think some of these have been republished, others you will need to hunt down.

Timely post, Tim. I've been thinking about picking up a copy of T&T from them for awhile.

As I mentioned in my Gen Con preview at my site, Flying Buffalo is a pioneer in the hobby, and it's cool to still see Rick Loomis doing his thing.
