Featured Artist: Silveztra

Today's Featured Artist is another one I found at the D&D Fantasy Art Facebook page AND on Twitter.
Silveztra is a great artist and has such a cool style I knew right away I needed some art from her.

Here she is in her own words.
Hello! I am Silveztra a 24-year-old self-taught freelance artist who is inspired by fantasy characters. I am an avid video gamer, anime watcher, and D&D player! I love drawing both cute characters, the threatening and powerful, monstrosities and also delve a lot in drawing pinups! I mainly draw females. I actually have a four-year degree in applied communications, which may seem useless, but I attribute it to a lot of my success in building my customer basis! In the future, I hope to get more commissions and be part of projects bigger than myself in the gaming, art, and rpg communities.
And here is some of her art!

Of course first up is her Pumpkin Spice Witch version of my OC Larina.  This is going to be the cover of my new Pumpkin Spice Witch Tradition book.

She has a lot more, some NSFW, but all really good.

Check out all her links including her commission rates.  Twitter is her main site, but she has all the usual ones.
Be sure to check her out!

New Pumpkin Spice Witch cover

I am having a weird day.

So let's do something fun.  Here is the new cover for my upcoming Pumpkin Spice Witch Tradition book.

The "Pumpkin Spice Witch" is by the super talented Silveztra.  I'll be featuring more of her art later this week, but here is a sneak peek.

I can't wait for Halloween!!

Happy Anniversary!

No regular post today, it's my 24th Wedding Anniversary!
24 years ago I stood on a beach in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and I said "I Do" to my best friend.
It's been a wonderful ride so far.  Two houses, two kids, 8 different jobs, and 21 season of gardens (missing one due to a move and no gardens when we lived in an apartment).  I wouldn't change a thing.

To keep this RPG related I got a commission from one of my Featured Artist, Ben Honeycutt, to do a portrait of my wife's and mine D&D 5 characters.  Or, more closely, us cosplaying as our characters. ;)

These are our characters Johan IV (Paladin) and Lana (Fighter)

These were based on our minis and our engagement photo from 1995.

Featured Artist: Jonathan F

Welcome back to Featured Artist!  This time I have an artist who is making a name for himself doing custom characters sheets.  That is not all he does, but these are so much fun I had to share.

Jonathan F, aka Jonathan Fountain, aka Farstride, has been making art for a while.  I first noticed him in the Facebook D&D Fantasy Art Group.

He did a couple sheets so I contacted him to see if he would be willing to do one of my iconic witch Larina.  Here are the results.

I am happy to report that my sheet for Larina has gone on to be his most viewed sheet of all time!

And a colorized version by Rueben Mcfadden.

Dragonborn Druid

He does more than just character sheets too.

Check out his Facebook page and request a character sheet for your favorite character.

Featured Artist: Iren Horrors

Todays featured artist is some I have been stalking for a while because I absolutely love her art.

Ksenia Svintsova, aka Iren Horrors, is an artist from Obninsk, Russia and she has a great witch-punk style that I love.  She describes her style and art as "Dark, gothic, witchy illustrations" so of course, I am going to notice her!

Honestly, there is not a single piece she has done that I don't 100% love.

And there is at least ten times more this amount that I love.  In a perfect world I'd get her to do the art for a witch and horror-centric D&D 5 book.

You can find Iren Horrors online at:

Please check out her sites!

Featured Artist: Hope Alexandra

I met today's Featured Artist, Hope Alexandra, in the D&D Fantasy Art Facebook Group. She is new to me artist but I really like her style.

Here is hope in her own words.
My name is Hope, and I've been an artist for the last 20+ years. I've always loved bringing characters to life for people to see, as it seems to make people really happy. I always try to incorporate the character's personality into my art to truly bring it to life. I've been mostly experienced in traditional art, though lately I am becoming better every day with digital art. I stream my art live on twitch at SheGamesHeGames, and you can find me on DeviantArt by the name littletzili. Thank you for taking the time to learn about what I do, and please don't hesitate to contact me on either platform for commissions.
Excellent! Here are some of her works.

This dark elf reminds me of a character I have, a drow necromancer.

This one is so cute. I just love the freckles on her face.

This dark elf reminds of my youngest son's warlock character.

Great stuff.

Featured Artist: Anna Marine

I am not sure how I found my next Featured Artist, I am just glad I did!

Anna Marine is from Prague, Czech Republic and is an amazing talent.  As you can expect from me she loves to draw witches and demons.

Here is a commission I had gotten from her for my Swords & Wizardry White Box Witch.
She was so great to work with that I am now looking for any excuse to get to do it again!

It's a young Larina flying to her sabbat sky-clad.  She does some really wonderful stuff.

Her newest is "Yule".

You can buy all these prints from her Big Cartel or Etsy stores.

You can find her on the net at:
She is available for commissions as well.

Thanks so much Anna!
