Random observation

No idea if this is true or not.  But I have been thinking about my friends and their likes and the all the blogs, pages and facebook stuff I read and I think there is something to this.

People that like Star Wars tend to be Marvel Comics fans.
People that like Star Trek tend to be DC Comics fans.

I know, I know, statistics of small numbers and all, but there might be some merit to this.

Seems interesting. They need to get more Statistics projects going for facebook like that Break-up one.

I must be an oddity, because I love DC and Star Wars.

Don't get me wrong, I like the Marvel stuff every once in a while, but I'm a diehard DC fan.

As far as Star Wars and Star Trek, I really don't care for Trek. Again I don't hate it, but in general I find it boring. Star Wars is one of my other obsessions though. I actually skipped my one (and only) high school prom to go to Star Wars Celebration II in Indianapolis back in '02.

Among my friends and the comic shops I go to, it tends to be DC and Star Wars, Marvel and Star Trek. Then again, I guess Marvel used to publish the Star Wars comics and DC used to publish Star Trek, so again their's probably some merit to your random observation.

Most of my friends are Star Wars, Star Trek, and DC fans. Not a lot of Marvel love with the people I know at all...

Well, I fit that generalization.

I like Trek, but if forced to choose I'd pick Star Wars.

For comics, despite how much I like Batman and the Flash, the Marvel lineup is just all around more interesting to me.
