Comparisons with Chill are inevitable, but the only thing they have in common is that they're both Pacesetter-brand horror RPGs that use the Action Table system. Cryptworld was designed and written from the ground-up to be different, bigger, more fully realized with more options for the player and CM. Classic horror, Hammer horror, sci-fi horror, slasher horror, it's all covered. Instead of a single monster-fighting society, there are 5 different organizations to choose from -- or the players can just be associates thrown into horrific chaos. Cryptworld takes the legacy of Pacesetter horror and sends it into numerous monstrous new directions.
Ah, I wondered how they get around the Chill problems.
