I have been taking my own kids through this well trod adventure for our current 1st Ed AD&D game.
For this time around I am adding some new ideas. Stealing from the Return to The Keep on the Borderlands and even some ideas that came up in my "Ash vs. The Keep on the Borderlands" for the Army of Darkness game. I am going to set up some of clues for the ultimate adventure they will be on (AGDQ+).

ReplyDeleteVery cool, I am interested to see how this plays out. I too am currently running a Keep on the Borderlands game for a group of first time players. However, since I have all the stuff for it and none of my older stuff on hand, I am converting it to 3.5. I plan to tie this in to the Temple of Elemental Evil if things keep going for long enough. You can check out my first session synopsis on my blog if you are interested.
ReplyDeleteI've got a B2 reference page. Some of the same links you posted, some others.
ReplyDeleteB2 Keep on the Borderlands page
cool!
ReplyDeleteI made an improved version of the 3D model of the caves of chaos and made the model file available as a link in case anyone wanted to tweak their own cave system.
ReplyDeleteThat is very cool. I will get a link up.

ReplyDeleteI was waffling with the idea, but now, after reading this material and looking at the links, I am certain that I am moving the Caves of Chaos to the Cairn Hills in my World of Greyhawk campaign. I am also going to use the Keep as a ruins to "explore".
