Well after 32 years I finally did it.
I sliced up my Basic and Expert books to put into a binder.
Er...sort of.
Instead I printed out my copies of the Basic and Expert books out on PDF.
I printed them a page to a side because my printer here at home can't do dual sided.
Rearranged them by chapters.
And put some tabs in.
So far it looks really nice. No cover yet, need to buy more ink.
I found that Acrobat has a really important set of features that help in printing from home. First off, you can tell it to print only odd or only even pages. Secondly, you can tell it to print in reverse order. So, you print out the odd pages, reverse order. Take that stack, flip it over, put it through the manual feed tray (or even just put it in the paper tray) then print the even pages front to back. Tada!
ReplyDeleteYeah...but I left this on autopilot while I was doing other things and just clicked "fast print" to save some ink.
ReplyDeleteI figure I can write notes on the blank sides.
You can also tell it to print in booklet fom. I've done that with fan pdfs, like Jason Vey's conan books for 0e. Works nicely.
