Look freaking awesome.
I am glad they don't look like D&D dwarves or Rankin/Bass dwarves or even the ones I pictured in my head when I read the Hobbit the first time.
I am so looking forward to this movie and I have every faith in Peter Jackson's vision.
Great group shot! I have confidence in Peter Jackson's imagination and ability to make a great movie.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's amazing, however, the number of people be-,oaning the look of the dwarves. What? Do they want carbon-copy, cookie-cutter Gimili clones? Go, PJ, go!
ReplyDeleteLike I've said on a few other blogs, I've got no problems with the hairstyles and facial hair lengths. I'm just hoping that's the dwarves kitted out for the Battle of 5 Armies, rather than how they look when they first appear at Bag End.
ReplyDeleteYaaayyy! I'm not good about knowing stuff, and hadn't heard the Hobbit would be a movie. This is wonderful news! The Hobbit was the second book I ever fell in love with. And yes, these are awesome-looking dwarves. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad some one else likes the look of them too. So many naysayers already.
ReplyDeleteYea, this movie is going to completely rock. Love the pic too!
